Musical Director and Vice-president of an on-campus contemporary a cappella group. This job entails leading warm-ups, part learning, note and rhythm accuracy, as well as fostering emotional connections within the group through music. It also includes choosing repertoire and creating setlists for different performances and figuring stage logistics.

Ohio University Learning Communities

Fine Arts LC Leader

2017 - Today

Teaches a college class once a week of first semester freshman on the logistics of college, campus safety, time management, and work ethic. The goal of OU Learning Communities are to create learning-based peer networks, improve the academic success of first-year students, improve student retention from the freshman to sophomore year, and increase student-faculty interaction outside the classroom

Leading a once weekly rehearsal as a soprano I section leader. This includes warm-ups, part learning, note and rhythm accuracy, and articulation cleaning of college age women.

I was a Senior conductor for the WHS annual Spring Arts Festival.  I spent time every week starting in March with the top ensemble teaching and directing Gather at the River by Susan LaBarr. We performed in late May - video in the "Artifacts" tab.
